This tour takes you to explore all the main historic & architectural icons in Quito, world’s highest capital and first World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO due to it's well preserved old town. 

 

Start with a panoramic drive among the modern areas. Later, visit the high hill of El Panecillo, where you will get eye-popping views and you will be able to see the monument of a Madonna, made from 7,000 pieces of aluminium.

 

Now is time to explore down town, visits are flexible to your desires but we usually include: the 16th-century Church of San Francisco, the impressive Basilica gothic style church which also affords great views of the old town, stroll to Plaza Grande surrounded by the impressive architecture of the Carondelet Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace and Municipal Palace. You may also wish to include the recently restored picturesque streets of La Ronda.
